Acie Charles Woodard

Acie Charles Woodard, 74 years old of Kemp, TX passed away peacefully with family by his side in Dallas, TX after a lengthy battle with leukemia.  He was born in Waxahachie, TX, the son of A.C. Woodard and Frances  McAlpan Woodard .
Charles served his country for 2 years in the US Army and continued his military duty in the National Guard.  He worked as a mechanic in Ennis for over 30 years before retiring from Woodard's Garage in Ennis.
Family members surviving Mr. Woodard are :  Wife, Mary Brisendine Woodard, Son, Jeffrey Lance Woodard, Son, Christopher Reese Woodard and wife Crystal, Son, William Woodard, Son, Bobby Price and wife Jessie, Daughter, Shelley Holmes, Daughter, Sherie Holmes, Brothers, Johnny Mack Woodard, Tommy Woodard and Gary Woodard. Mr. Woodard's legacy continues with his grandchildren, Reese Woodard, Caleb Woodard, Aaron Woodard, Ethan Woodard, Russell Woodard, Abigail Woodard, Danielle Wallner, Taylor Price, Matthew Holmes, Tara Holmes, Nicole Moss, Ashland Moss.
He was preceded in death by his parents A.C. and Frances Woodard. 
Graveside services will be held at King Cemetery, Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10:00 am with Rusty Yager officiating for the Woodard family. 
Interment will follow in the King Cemetery.
