Betty Norwood

Betty Norwood, 89, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on February 19, 2023. She was born on March 6, 1933 in Ider, AL. to Floyd L. and Burma Culpepper.

She married her soul mate of 73 years Billy C. Norwood and moved to Texas. They have lived in Malakoff most of their married life. She enjoyed the outdoors playing golf and fishing.

She is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Burma Culpepper and brothers K.E. Culpepper, and Leon Culpepper.

She is survived by her husband Billy Norwood, son Randy Norwood and wife Tina, son Don Norwood and wife Lori, grandchildren Hunter Norwood and wife Katherine, Pepper and husband Jon Baker, Brianna and Jacob Parker, Trinity Norwood and great-grandchild Lily Parker.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2023 at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, TX. Service will follow at 1:00 PM with Bro. Derek Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Malakoff Cemetery.
