Billy Lee Gunnels

Billy Lee Gunnels went to be with the Lord, his friends, and family in heaven on November 13, 2020 at his home in Crescent Heights, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother Jesse and Maudean Gunnels and sister Callie Simmons.

Left behind is his wife of 45 years Barbara Gunnels and six daughters.  Camille Collinsworth and Dale, Susan Dowdy and Mike, Shelly Greenwalt and Paul, Melinda Dickenson and David, Teri Gunnels and Wendy Yates.  One brother Richard Gunnels and Glenda, special friends Manuel Frarias and Carmen, Jim Alyea and Judy.  He has 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and many other family and close friends.

Billy is a 35 year retiree from TXU and respected rancher in Henderson County.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Dalrymple, Rhonda Robertson, Richard Gunnels, William Ramsey, Percy Airheart, Jill Humphries, Manuel Frarias and Jim Alyea.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at First Baptist Church Cross Roads, TX with Bro. Frank Upchurch officiating.
