Billy Wayne "Club" Starkes

Billy Wayne ''Cub'' Starkes of Tyler, TX passed away on January 22, 2014 in Tyler, TX at the age of 70. Billy was born on January 20, 1944 in Athens, TX to Isaac and Ida Lorene Dosser Starkes. Billy had a heart of gold, loved being with his family, going on hay rides and fishing. He loved being outdoors. His favorite time of year was Easter when all could get together and hunt Easter eggs. He is survived by his brother, Charles Starkes, sister, Dorthy Tapley, brother, James Starkes, and sister, Barbara Holder. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Ida Starkes, sister, Laverne Tapley, brother, Kenneth Starkes. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Huckabee/Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, TX Service will follow at 2:00 PM Interment will be held at Post Oak Cemetery Clergy: Tom Taylor
