Bobby Claude Spivey

Bobby Claude Spivey of Tool, TX passed away at his home Saturday, October 19, 2019.
After a long battle with cancer, Bobby has joined his wife Weta. Bobby had plenty of accomplishments during his life, including; two years serving in the Army, he spent 45 years married to his loving wife Weta Hearn Spivey, and work 30 years for Texas Power and Light. At the age of 55, Bobby retired and enjoyed every day just living life.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Floyd and Leona Peavy Spivey, wife; Weta Mae Hearn Spivey, son; Kenneth Spivey, daughter Vicki Spivey Barnes, brother Lowell Spivey, sister; Wanda Ingram, brother; Billy Spivey, and brother; Gary Spivey.
He is survived by so many family and friends including his children; Bobby Phillip Spivey and wife Brinda of Tool, TX, Charles Spivey of Tool, TX, Pamala Askew and husband Troy of Fort Worth, TX, grandchildren; Shelly Spivey of Caldwell, TX, Jasey Spivey David and husband Jason, Roy Florez Jr. and wife Sarah of Fort Worth, TX, Martin Florez of Fort Worth, TX, Victoria Florez of Fort Worth, TX, Angie Brown and husband Chuck of Athens, TX, Cindy Harris and husband Kerry of Athens, TX, Valarie Pagitt and husband Kevin of Athens, TX, Melissa Surls Spivey of Cross Roads, TX, 16 great-grandchildren, special nephews; Billy Tripp Spivey of Tool, TX, Jeff Spivey and wife Wendy of Cross Roads, TX, Craig Spivey of Cross Roads, TX Scott Ingram of Tool, TX, special nieces; Bonita Garvin, Joyce Crist, Loretta McCleary, Judy Smith, special great nieces and nephews; Paige Spivey Almon and husband Wade, Kristy Spivey Reynolds and husband Ryan, Trent Spivey and wife Katlyn, Eric Gavin, and special sister-in-law; Patsy Woods Spivey of Tool, TX.
Thank you to very special friends for always taking care of dad every day with food and love, John Horace and Judy McClintock, Ken and Dale Wardrum, all the Circle C Morning buddies, Jimmy and Vicki Svoboda, Debbie Godwin, Larry Sorrells, Steve Johnson, and all the TP & L crew (his extended work family), Charline Johnson, cousin; Joe Johnson and wife Laurie.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Johnson, Wade Almon, Ryan Reynolds, Eric Garvin, Paul Thomas, Craig Spivey, Jeff Spivey, and Jarrod Svoboda. Honorary pallbearers will be Kerry Harris, Kevin Pagitt, and Chuck Brown.  
Services for Bobby will be Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Providence Baptist Church in Tool, TX with visitation at 1:00 p.m. and service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Tool Cemetery.
