Chester Tapp

Chester Tapp, of Gun Barrel City, Texas was born on October 8, 1931 to Odis Bryon Tapp and his wife Bessie Ruth Hudgin in Dallas, Texas. He passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the age of 83, in Dallas, Texas. Chester is preceded in death by his Father, Odis Tapp, Mother, Bessie Tapp, Brother, O.J Tapp, Sister, Irvine Stinson, Sister, Doris "Mickie" Horton, Son, Perry Tapp and Son, Wesley Tapp. He is survived by his Wife, Shirley Tapp, Daughter, Bonnie Uptmor, Son, Michael Tapp and Son, David Tapp. A Visitation will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 at Huckabee Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points Texas between the hours of 6:00 - 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Beacon Church of Christ in Gun Barrel City at 1:00 pm with clergy Dan Baum, with interment to follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas and is under the direction of Huckabee Tomlinson Funeral Homes.
