Clay Miller

July 20, 2019 while surrounded by his family Charles Clay Miller went home to live with his heavenly father.
Clay was born October 9, 1949 in Tutwiler, MS to James Edward and Bessie Mae Miller.
Clay moved to the Cedar Creek area five years ago. A retired industrial electrician, yet he was anything but retired. When he moved to Cedar Creek, he started his own business as an outdoor furniture builder, and One Call, home repair and remodeling.
His passions were his family, fishing, cooking, and serving the Lord at Lakeside Baptist Church. He loved cooking for the kids at church every Wednesday.
Clay is preceded in death by his parents James and Bessie Mae, brothers; James Miller, Harold Miller, Dave Miller, J.E. Miller, George Miller, Johnny Miller, and sister Lilly Mae Miller.
He is survived by his wife Beverly, treasured daughters Elsie Mae Miller, Julia Spracklen and husband Bruce, sons Benji Miller and wife Casey, Anthony Miller and wife Christy, his new children Elizabeth Goode and husband Dane, Robert Heath and wife Stephanie, brother Merle Miller. He is also survived by his greatest joys, his grandchildren, Kayla and fiancé Lemuel,Tyler, Hunter, Colton, Rachel, Dakota, Drake, Joslynn, and James. His legacy continues with his great-granddaughter, his pride and joyous namesake Charlie.Nothing was more important to Clay on this earth than his family.
A memorial service and celebration of his life will be at Lakeside Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 24.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Joni and Friends of Texas, where Clay was able to serve as a fishing guide to children with disabilities. Donations can also be made to Lakeside Baptist Church (children's back to school fund), which he was also passionate about.
