Darren Robert Feagin age 26 is playing piano, guitar, and trumpet in heaven today. Darren passed away on January 9 in Tyler, TX. He was born in Athens, TX on September 18, 1987.
Darren was an avid musician. He played piano and taught himself how to play the guitar. He played trumpet in school. He became a journalist and photographer for the University of Texas magazine. He also worked for Prestige Photography. If you needed some information just ask Darren, he was a walking encyclopedia.
His favorite time was when he was with his brother Bryan. He looked forward to planning trips. Their favorite places to go were battle memorial parks to see battle ships and war planes.
Darren is survived by his mother Karen Feagin, sister Tabitha Feagin Dahl, sister Serena Feagin, brother Bryan Feagin, grandparents John and Gladys Laseter, Uncle John Laseter, aunt Mandy Laseter, and several cousins.
Service was held Monday, January 13 at 2:00 PM at Kerens Baptist Church with Brother Tommy Hayes officiating. Interment was in Hamilton Beamon Cemetery in Retreat, TX.
Although Darren left us way to soon he had accomplished so much during his short time here on earth.
Service was under the direction of Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, TX.
