David Wayne Ellis

Funeral services for David Wayne Ellis will be Saturday, September 26 , 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Cross Roads, Texas with Bro. Frank Upchurch officiating. David was born November 7, 1961 in Carroll, Iowa to Donald Leroy and Laura Rose Ellis. He passed away on September 23, 2015 in Donie, TX. He was an avid 42 domino player, and enjoyed playing horseshoes, hunting, and anything outdoors. He worked at the Wal Mart Distribution Center in Tucker, TX for 23 years. David is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Laura Ellis, step-mother Carolyn Ellis, sister-in-law Sharon "Mickie", and nephew Micky Ellis. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Betty Ellis, children Casey Kyle Ellis and girlfriend Aubreyona Hargrove and Rachel Nicole Ellis and boyfriend Dalas Schaeper. He is also survived by his brothers Eugene Ellis and wife Deann, Ronald Ellis and wife Lisa, Richard Ellis, Mark Ellis and wife Jessie, sisters-in-law Jody Minton, Patty Ann Lancaster, numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. Pallbearers for the service will be Stevie Cowan, Donny Piper, Michael Lancaster, Chris Fox, Alan Ellis, and Donny Ellis. The family will receive friends and visitors Friday, September 25 from 6 - 8 PM at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, Texas.
