David Wayne Shackelford

David Wayne Shackelford of Malakoff, Texas passed away on July 15, 2016 at the age of 72. David was born on November 25, 1943 in Fort Worth, Texas to Robert and Dorothy Shackelford. David served in the Army from 1961 to 1964 and was a member of the American Legion in Gun Barrel City, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife Wanda Shackelford, children, Robert Wayne and wife Deavon Shackelford, Steven Wayne Shackelford, Mike McGill, Denise and husband Mark Lawrence, Renee McGill, brother, Phillip Simons, sisters, Linda and Kay Simons, numerous, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Shackelford, son, Dean Michael Shackelford, brother, Ronald Simons, sister, Carol Simons. Memorial service is pending at a later date.
