Derrick Jacobs

Derrick Blaine Jacobs, 56, was called to his eternal resting place on December 7, 2023. He entered this world on September 27, 1967 in Terrell, TX, born to Danny Glen and Nelda Fay (Herriage) Jacobs. Derrick worked for Baten Steel Erectors Company and retired from the Iron Workers Union after being a member for 26 years. He loved spending time hunting and fishing with his brother.

Derrick is preceded in death by his father Danny.

He is survived by his mother Nelda Jacobs; wife Karen Jacobs; daughters Lacey Echols & Jessica Jacobs; son Jared Jacobs; brother Danny Jacobs and sister Hollie Wilson.

Visitation, with service to follow, will be at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, 403 E Royall Blvd., Malakoff, Texas, starting at 1:00 PM Saturday December 16, 2023. Honorary Pallbearers are Cody Jacobs, Ian Carrington, Michael Carrington, Cameron Carrington, Brett Braun and Jared Jacobs. Bro. James Rogers will be officiating.
