Doris Young-Gunnels passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 in Malakoff, TX.
Doris was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Cecil and Willie McGee.
She was a member of Log Cabin community for many years. She was the mayor of Log Cabin, a city council woman, and a member of Caney Creek Baptist Church for many years.
She is preceded in death by her two husbands; Ruben O. Young Jr., Ed Gunnels, and daughter Janice Young.
She is survived by her three sons; Wayne Young, Ron Young, Gary Young, 7 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
A service will be held Monday, January 29, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff with interment to follow at Restland Memorial, Dallas, TX.
