Emmitt Wayne Perry age 81 passed away August 27, 2017 in Payne Springs, TX.
Emmitt was born September 13, 1935 in Corsicana, TX to Bertie Perry and Emma McDaniel Perry.Â
Before retiring Wayne was a truck driver and a member of the teamster's union. He also enjoyed fishing drinking beer, dancing and pretty women.
He is preceded in death by his parents Bertie and Emma Perry, wife Betty Perry, brother Jesse Glenn Perry, and sister-in-law Shirley Perry.
He is survived by his son Ferrell Wayne Perry and wife Pat, daughter Linda Nichols and husband Fred, daughter Vickie Harzell, brothers BJ Perry Jr., Eddie Lynn Perry, sisters Betty Vancroft, Dorothy Hume, and Francis Glasgow. His legacy continues to live on with his six grandchildren Shelly Gallion, Vickie Miller, Lisa Taylor, Shanna, Michelle, Donnie Wayne McIntosh, and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Perry will be Wednesday August 30, 2017 at First Baptist Church, Malakoff, TX from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Service will be at 2:00 PM with Bro. Johnny Morgan officiating.
