Essie Tinsley

Essie May Tinsley, 88, who was cherished by her big family, was called to heaven on December 28, 2022. She entered this world on March 23, 1934 in Palestine, TX, born to Alvin Thurman and Myrtle Lillian (Alexandria) Lane.

She was a retired factory worker. Essie loved life and time with her family. She especially love her Wednesday dates with her ladies lunch club. She enjoyed music and loved to dance. She was a member of the 49ers dance club in Gun Barrel for many years. She was a Cowboy's fan. Some of the best family time was sitting and watching the games together. She enjoyed the lake and jet skiing. Essie loved life.

Essie is preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Myrtle Lane; daughter Patty Ann Doolin; granddaughter Angela Matthews; grandson Joshua Hughes; three sisters; and four brothers.

Her beautiful legacy lives on by her daughters, Carolyn Robertson & husband Randy, Sue Files & husband David; sons, Jay Doolin & wife Lisa, Charles Tinsley & wife Jennifer; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitations will be Sunday January 1, 2023, at 1:00 PM, with service to follow at 2:00 PM, at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff,Texas with Bro. Tommy Hayes officiating.
