Ferris Clifton Vick

~~Ferris Clifton Vick, 87 years old of Trinidad, TX, went to meet his Heavenly Father on September 25, 2017 in Kaufman, TX. 
Clift was born in Laurel, MS, February 25, 1930 the son of Roy Vick and Bessie Ridgeworth Vick.  He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Trinidad, TX. 
He married Zellabell Smith from Grand Prairie in 1962.  They settled in the Cedar Creek area in 1974. 
He retired from the Navy in 1975 after serving our country for 29 years and 10 months. The Vicks were married for 47 years before she passed away in 2009.
 
Mr. Vick leaves behind a nephew Jimmy Smith and wife Martha; stepson, Charles Lamb and wife Diane; any other nieces, nephews, grandkids and great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Bessie Vick and loving wife Zella Vick.
Friends will be received at the Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Homes, Seven Points, TX. on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm
Committal Services will be held at DFW National Cemetery, September 29, 2017 at 9:00 am with Mickey Loftis officiating.
Retired Navy veteran will be honored with full military honors at the close of service.
