Frances Monroe

Dorothy Frances Monroe, age 93 years, of Malakoff, passed away on Wednesday April 24, 2019

Frances was born in Tool, TX on February 28, 1926, daughter of the late Dan and the late Eula Smith. 
Frances has been around the area her whole life. Before moving to Malakoff, Frances was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Tool, TX for more than 40 years. She has since been a member of First Baptist Church in Malakoff, TX for nearly 30 years. She was involved in many things with the church including the two things she loved, Faith in Action and Kids Bible Club at Malakoff Elementary.
She is preceded in death by her father; Dan Smith, mother; Eula Smith, husband; Joe Monroe, son; Ronnie Monroe, son; Rex Monroe, grandson; Shane Monroe, and numerous brothers and sisters
She is survived by her son; Richard and wife Cindy Monroe of Mabank, TX, son; Randy and wife Sharon Monroe of Malakoff, TX, son; Rodney Monroe of Seven Points, TX, daughter; Mary and husband Fred Carter of Prairieville, TX, daughter-in-law; Shirley Monroe of Geary, OK, sister; Betty Jean Rogers of Irving, TX, brother; Pat and wife Carol Smith of Granbury, TX, 14 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren, 8 Great-Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Service will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church Malakoff.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at First Baptist Church Malakoff.
Interment will immediately follow at Tool Cemetery.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Casey Perry and Bro. Jody Jones.
