Jeffrey Lee Skidmore

Jeffrey Lee " Santa Claus" Skidmore age 56 of Payne Springs passed away on February 24, 2017. Jeffrey was born August 4, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio to Wand Lou Hilderbrand and adoptive parents Jennifer Reese and Ruby Skidmore. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth West, children Ruby Skidmore Harn and Husband Toby of Marion, IA, Pearl Skidmore of Mabank, Kennedy Skidmore of Wisconsin, Opal Williams of Indiana, and Daniel Anderson of Dallas, brother Joseph Carter of Mabank, and Vina Carter of Ohio. His legacy continues with his grandchildren Aurora, Vanessa, and Tiana Anderson and Steven and Takota Ross..
He is preceded in death by his parents. Jeffery proudly served our country in the Army. He enjoyed helping out with the local 4-H, and being a Santa's helper.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, TX with Bro. Dale Norris officiating.
