Julia "Judy" Worthy Ledbetter of Gun Barrel City passed away on May 31, 2014 in Tyler, TX at the age of 75. Julia was born on November 15, 1938 in Lufkin, TX to George H. Durham and Ruth Brookshire Durham. Julia was a teacher at Kemp ISD for 21 years . She was a member of the Eastern Star, Ladies Auxiliary VFW, American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Al Ledbetter, daughter, Conni Wiley, step-daughters, Debra and husband Steve Reese, Pam and husband Mark Stenner, step-son, Steve Ledbetter, sisters, Janie and husband Jim Ward, Dianne Fields, Kathy and husband Robert Baize, grandsons, Todd Meine, Shane and wife Christal Meine. granddaughter, Elisha and husband Nathan Anderson, numerous step grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruth Durham, first husband, Ernest Worthy, son, Mark Worthy, brother-in-law, Roger Fields. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Huckabee/Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points, TX Service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Huckabee/Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points, TX.
