Larry Elert Sletten

Larry Elert Sletten age 67 passed away October 11, 2015 in Payne Springs, TX. Mr. Sletten was born on December 29, 1947 in Mayville, North Dakota to Knute and Edna Sletten. He served in the Army and protected our country during the Vietnam conflict. He and his wife Mary Hewitt have been married 42 years. They married April 21, 1973 in Dallas, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents Knute and Edna Sletten, and grandson Chandler Patrick Sletten. Larry is survived by his wife Mary Sletten, sons Johnny Holbert and wife Kathy, Steven Sletten and wife Misti. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Arly, Denny, Barbara, Beulah, Betty, and Beverly. His legacy continues to live on through his grandchildren Kalyn McCoy, Haylie Holbert, Alyssa Sletten, Jeffery Holbert,Olivia Sletten, and great-grandson Kulton McCoy. Graveside Service for Mr. Sletten will be Thursday, October 15 at 11:00 AM at Rodgers Cemetery in Grand Saline, Texas. David Hewitt will officiate the service.
