Lawence Edward Schreiber, "Larry", 68, called to eternal rest on 3-19-2022. Born 1-15-1954 in Hinsdale, IL to Thomas J. Schreiber and Helen M. Vrchota. He is survived by Kathy, his wife of 40 years; son Dan, & daughters Lindsay, Kristine, and Victoria; brothers Bill, Mike, Jim, and Tom, and sister Kathy; four incredible grandchildren: Kennedi, Noah, Berlin, & Sadie.
Larry graduated from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, completed a carpenter's apprenticeship program, began a lifelong career in construction and worked his way up to the position of Superintendent. Throughout his career he made many lifelong friends. He retired on beautiful Cedar Creek Lake in Texas where he delighted in boating, fishing, and the outdoors. Despite being a mischievous jokester, he had a strong work ethic and heart full of generosity and went above and beyond to provide a life of comfort and excitement for his family. Larry will always be remembered for being the life of the party with his fun personality and bright smile that lit up every room he entered.
Larry will be missed greatly by all who knew him. His visitation and rosary will be held Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, TX with Father Fenton officiating.
The mass service will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:00am at Mary Queen of Heaven with Father Fenton officiating for the family. Interment will follow the mass at Mary Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
