Lonnie Key, 50, of Eustace, TX passed away on March 10, 2023.

He entered this world on January 19, 1973 in Mesquite, TX, born to Joe and Glenda Key.

Lonnie has a passion for truck driving and heavy equipment operating. Even when his health would not allow it, he would always want to be at work. His life was centered around his family. He loved his children and grandchildren very much. He was and avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

He is preceded in death by his wife whom he loved and missed very much Christina Key, father Joe Key, nephew Harley Williams, and his grandparents.

Lonnie is survived by his mother Glenda Donaho; daughter Mercedes Sims and husband James, daughter Alexandria Key, sister Tammy Ybarba and husband Gilbert, sister Scarlet Key, nieces and nephews Jessica Williams, Mason Williams, Hunter Edwards, and Jordan Ivey. His legacy continues to live on through his precious grandchildren Braxton Key, Caden Sims, Parker Sims, Olivia Sims, and Remington.

Visitation for Lonnie is scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Huckabee-Tomlinson Chapel, Seven Points, TX. Service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Chapel with Bro. Leonard Easton officiating.
