Margret Tomlinson

Margret Tomlinson, beloved mother and grandmother was called to her eternal resting place on April 18, 2024.

She entered this world on January 4, 1931 in Megargel, TX, born to Dave and Anna Turner.

Margret received her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and her master's degree she received from Oklahoma University, both of which she was awarded with the highest honors. She was a member of Rockhill Church of Christ, and a former member of Beacon Church of Christ in Gun Barrel City.

She is preceded in death by her parents Dave and Anna Turner, her beloved husband Norvel Tomlinson, and son Cody Tomlinson.

She is survived by her daughter Kristin Tomlinson, son David and wife Regina Tomlinson, daughter-in-law Becce Tomlinson. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren Megen Tomlinson, Connor and wife Emma Jane Tomlinson, Nathan Tomlinson, Tim Tomlinson, Sterling Tomlinson, Kerra Tomlinson, and her great-granddaughter Nora. She is also survived my many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Margret will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at King Cemetery.
