Maria Garfia of Athens, TX passed away on June 3, 2015 at the age of 91. Maria was born on April 30, 1924 in Mexico to Juilan Garfia and Eduviges Becerra Garfia. She is survived by her daughter, Josefina Vargas, son, Arturo Vargas, sisters, Jovita, Esperanza and Guadalupe Garfia, brother, Jesus Garfia, 8 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juilan and Eduviges Garfia, Husband, Wuilibaldo Vargas, daughter, Graciela Vargas, sister, Antonia Garfia. Service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home in Malakoff, TX
