Martha Dee Thompson of Star Harbor, Texas passed away on December 25, 2016 at the age of 99. Martha was born in Malakoff, Texas on June 18, 1917 to I. P. Tidmore and Dellia Guy Tidmore. She was a retired Home Economics Teacher with 20 plus years from Nocona, Texas, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Malakoff, Texas, president of the Cedar Creek Porcelain Art Club, member of the Star Harbor Water Color society and a member of the Methodist Women. She is survived by her son, David and wife Roselyn Thompson, brother, George Watson Tidmore, sister, Mary Louise Robertson, granddaughters, Lory Pinto and Kelli Hughes, great-grandchildren, Hannah Pinto, Sath Pinto and Emma Hughes, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, I. P. and Dellia Tidmore, husband, Richard Franklin Thompson, son, Franklin Dee Thompson, sister, Alva Marie Sadler. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home in Malakoff, Texas. Service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Malakoff, Texas. Clergy: Rev: Charles Kimble Interment will follow at Malakoff Cemetery.
