Minnie Lou Morgan

Ms. Minnie Lou Morgan, passed away on August 7, 2020 at her home in Mabank, TX with her family and husband James by her side. Minnie Lou as she was fondly called by her friends and family was 90 years young. A little bouncing baby girl was born March 22, 1930, in Corsicana, TX to Toby Rosco Counts and Gladys Josephine Stogner Counts. She was a life-long resident of Trinidad, TX and a member of the United Methodist Church in Trinidad. She attended Trinidad schools and graduated in 1947. She was elected Miss Trojan in 1946. She was also member of Weight Watchers and Red Hat Ladies Club. Minnie Lou made a career working for the Civil Service.

She was preceded in death by her parents Toby and Gladys Counts; her husbands Andre LaVallee and Thirlo J. Dann and daughter Andrea LaVallee.

Services for Minnie Lou Morgan will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home Malakoff with Wayne Pitchford officiating.  Interment will follow at Trinidad City Cemetery.

Services will be under the direction of Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home Malakoff.
