Norma Riggs

Norma Riggs, 79, loved mother, sister, and grandmother passed away on May 8, 2023 with her family by her side.

Norma was born in Dallas, TX on January 16, 1944 to Ozell and Vera Margaret Hooper.

She was a bookkeeper for Sears in Dallas for 16 years. Norma loved to sing classic country music. She loved her family and was the rock that held them together. She hosted many family gatherings at her home and loved everyone being there. In many ways she would always put her family before herself. Her favorite things to do would be to read and watch Grey's Anatomy over and over.

Norma is preceded in death by her husband Billy Riggs, parents Ozell and Margaret Hooper, brothers Otis Hooper, Jearl Hooper, Bobby Hooper, Roger Dale Hooper, sister Donna Ford and great grandson Michael Brinegar.

She is survived by her daughters Margaret Horn, Billie J. Riggs, sister Shirley Miller, brother David Ford, grandchildren Amy Nipp, Hollie Norris, Ashley Brinegar, Brittany Neighbors, Randi Grant, and Angela Riggs. Norma's wonderful legacy will continue to live in her 21 great grandchildren.

Service will be 4:00 PM Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Huckabee-Tomlinson Chapel in Seven Points, TX.
