TODD, OSCAR HOYT Oscar was born on July 20, 1927 in Paris, Texas to Charles Hoyt Todd and Fay Willingham Todd. He passed away on January 27, 2014 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas. He had been living at the Cedarview Assisted Living Center in Gun Barrel City, Texas since June 2012. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Ann and survived by his daughter Sarah Beltz and husband Michael of Gun Barrel City, daughter Judy Fox and partner Debora Kalens of Austin, Texas and grandson Michael Fox also of Austin, Texas. Oscar graduated from Crozier Tech High School in Dallas, Texas and served 2 years in the United States Navy. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1984 as a Repair Foreman in Dallas and was a member of the Methodist Church. He was also a member of the AT&T Telephone Pioneers at Cedar Creek Lake and donated countless hours to many projects. He was a lifelong friend to many and an avid fisherman. Oscar was a very talented artist and his drawings and caricatures were extraordinary. No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association or to the Alzheimer's Association.
