Rosie Bell Powers

Rosie Bell Powers, 81 years old of Tool, TX, was stepped on to the street of gold to be with her with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 10, 2017.
She was born in Oakwood, TX, daughter of Bob Woodard and Rosie Lee Woodard .
Rosie was a member of faithful member of the Beacon Church of Christ in Gun Barrel City for 30 years.
She worked as a hairdresser for many years. Rosie was a rare jewel and a friend to many. She had a smile that would brighten any room when she walked in and a story to tell anyone who would listen.
She leaves behind two sons Kenneth Powers and Robert Powers; sister, Geneva Allen and brother, Oscar Lee Woodard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan Powers; daughter, Jonnie Powers; and parents Bob and Rosie Woodard.
Friends will be received Sunday, December 17, 2017, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the at the Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Homes, Seven Points, TX.
Funeral Services will be held at Beacon Church of Christ, Gun Barrel City, Monday, December 18, 2017 at 10:00 am with Bro. Dan Baum officiating for the family.
Interment will follow in the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
