Ruby Snowden

Ruby Lee Snowden, 80 of Corsicana Tx. passed away on February 15, 2025 at Medical City Hospital in Arlington Tx.

Ruby was born on July 22, 1944, in Corsicana Tx. to Drue R and Barbara B Smith. She grew up in Corsicana and went on to marry her husband Elbert Snowden of 36 years and had 5 children Ronnie, Charles, Barbara, Tony, and Jessie. Her hobbies included puzzles, fishing, playing games on her phone and listening to music. She also enjoyed moving in with her sister Linda.

She is preceded in death by her parents Drue and Barbara Smith, her grandparents Edwin and Lulu Smith, her brothers Cassie Smith, Gilbert Smith, Reynolds Smith, sisters Birdie Fine, and Marjorie Minchey, her sons Ronnie Snowden, Charles Snowden, and daughter Jessie Ellis, grandchildren Lori Mae Ellis, Monica Lee Mathis, and Charlene Snowden

Ruby is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Steve "Buck" and wife Sandy Smith, her sister and brother-in-law Linda and husband Reuben Lehmberg, Son and daughter-in-law Tony and Priscilla Snowden and daughter Barbara Jean Lawson, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday, February 24, 2025, at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, TX. Service will be at 2:00 PM with Bro. Lonnie Keele and Matt Allen officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Cross Roads, TX.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Steve Raney, Richard Wiese, Mark Ellis, Michael Ellis, Jeremy Combs, Lane Combs, Preston Snowden, Tony Snowden Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Burgess.
