Samuel R Blair

Samuel R. Blair Sr. 84, of Malakoff, TX entered into eternal rest on November 20, 2020 in Lufkin, TX.

Samuel was born on September 14, 1936 in Malakoff, TX to Daniel Blair and Maranda Richardson Blair.

A lifetime resident of Malakoff, he was a member of the Malakoff Church of Christ.  He retired from TVCC after 20 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Maranda Blair, wife Betty Lou Blair, wife Erma Jean Smith Blair, sisters Rosa Mae Glenn, Ruby Jones, Elsie Lee Hinkle, brother Willie Blair, Roy Blair, and Daniel Blair Jr.

He is survived by his sons Samuel Blair Jr. and wife Jacquelyn, Richard Blair and wife Herlin, Daniel Blair and wife Teresa, grandchildren Destiny Blair, Kalen Blair, Jessica Blair, Anthony Sims, Kimberly Blair, and Danielle Blair.  His legacy continues to live on in his three precious great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday, November 23, 2020 at Huckabee Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, TX.

Service will be Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Huckabee Tomlinson Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Redic officiating. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Aubrey Glenn, Darrell Glenn, Ricky Glenn.

Interment will be in Stockard Cemetery, Eustace, TX.
