Sharon Lee Renick

January 7, 1960 — April 20, 2021

Sharon Lee Renick, 61, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend was called to her eternal resting place on April 20, 2021.
She entered this world on January 7, 1960 in Dallas, TX, born to Marcus and Shirley Davis.
Sharon was a lover of quilts. She loved to make them. She loved to collect them. She pieced quilt tops and made quilts using both hand-quilting and machine quilting techniques. She worked at several quilt shops - jobs that brought her joy. She was a long-time member of the Quilter's Guild of Dallas and was part of Goin' To Pieces, a friendship group within the guild. She has shared her talents and gifts with others by making baby and children's quilts for family members and to donate to children's charities. And she has shared her love of quilting with her loved ones - making quilts for family members and introducing the colorful world of quilting to her best friend, sister-in-law and both of her grand-daughters. Catherine, her best friend of 35 years said, "I don't remember a time when she wasn't quilting."
She is survived by her son Joshua Renick and wife April; mother Shirley Davis; sister-in-law Kim Renick; grandchildren Corrine, Caelyn, and Joshua; life long friend Catherine Rhodes, and many other friends and loved ones.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Huckabee-Tomlinson Chapel, Seven Points.
