Terry John Ward, 67 years old of Kemp, TX, left the walks of this earthly life on Thursday evening at his residence.Â
He was born December 3, 1950Â in Grapevine, TX, the son of Johnny Hewlitt Ward and Josephine Farris
Terry served our country during the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Bronze Star for bravery, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Terry was quite the people person to those who knew him. He loved to make people laugh. He was a "one of a kind" person with a big heart who will be miss by many. He loved to hunt and fish and be outside.
Those he will be leaving behind to miss him are his mother, Josephine and CJ Overman, sons, Jeffrey "Fart Knocker" Ward and wife Heather, Zach Ward and David McBride; daughter, Carrie and Josh Richards; sister, Theresa Busbee; granddaughters, Alexyse Richards, Delilah Richards and Elizabeth Richards. There are many other nieces, nephews and loved one who will be missed his big smile also.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Hewlitt Ward, grandmother, MaMaw Daisy and Clifton Farris.
Friends will be received Monday, March 26, 2018 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the at the Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Homes, Seven Points, TX.
Interment will follow in the DFW National Cemetery at a later date.
