Thomas Galvez

Thomas Galvez, 81, beloved father and grandfather passed away in Plano, TX on January 13, 2025.

He was born in Marlin, TX to Jose' Galvez and Fransisca Ortiz Galvez.

Thomas had a career as a truck driver. He loved working and being outside. While driving, he was able to do both work and enjoy being outside. When he wasn't at work, you would still find him outside working on cars or trying to invent something. In that rare moment he wasn't working, he enjoyed dancing.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jose' and Fransisca Galvez, wife Letha "Sissie" Galvez, sister Nellie Rivas, and brother Tony Galvez.

Thomas is survived by his daughter Crissy Polley and husband Stacey, son Tommy Galvez and wife Abbie, son Michael Galvez and wife Amanda, honorary daughter Debra Ochoa, brother Joe Galvez, sister Trina Dougan. His legacy continues to live on in his 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service is scheduled for 3:00 PM, Friday, January 17, 2025 at Goshen Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jayden Galvez, Landen McCoy, Grant Daniels, Justin Hester, Chris Hester, Chris Rogers, and Adrian Cook.
