Vena Darr Alphin of Mabank, TX passed away on February 9, 2016 at the age of 92. Vena was born in Van Zandt County on October 28, 1923 to Joseph L. Darr and Irene F. Spillman Darr. She is survived by her sons, David Alphin and Danny Alphin, grandsons, Dennis and Clint Alphin, granddaughters, Darla and Erin Alphin, numerous great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Irene Darr, Husband, Lawrence D. Alphin, sister, Ann Lindsey, numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Mabank, TX Clergy: Derek Rogers
