Vera Ann Pierson

Vera Ann Higgins Pierson "MomoV", 90, was born September 30, 1931, in Seminole, OK. Parents Donald E. Higgins Sr. and Veda N. Meek Higgins. She met her Lord and Savior on January 30, 2022.

Following hs graduation, 1949 Crozier Tech, she had a long employment history in Dallas TX, including AAFES and more. Eventually retiring at Cedar Creek lake. Throughout her life, she continued pursuit of her love in artistry (sketching, painting, poetry). In later years, she immensely enjoyed traveling with her love, Nat, and was known to say, "the best is at the beach".

A loving Mother, Momo, Great Momo, she took immense pride in her family. Using her marvelous computer talents, she delighted sharing the family history and fun memories for all to enjoy.

Sweet, smart, fun and feisty, artistic and unusually creative, MomoV was loved by all who knew her. Beautiful inside-out. She was precious and will be dearly missed.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, H.G.Pierson Sr., brothers, D.E. Higgins, Jr., Charles D. Higgins, Johnny R. Higgins.

Survived by her children, Deanna Sackett-Venable (Dale), H. Grady Pierson, Jr., (Joann), Grandchildren, Matthew R. Wittram (Ashley), Charity Button (Robert), Gabriel Pierson (Amanda),Jessica Mitchell (Johnathan), Great-grandchildren, Tyler, Addison, Drew, Paxton, Kyle, Annika, Ainsley. Along with numerous other family members and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at: Providence Baptist Church, Wednesday, February 23, 2022, 11:00 a.m., 1016 Church Road, Tool, Texas 75143.
