Vivien Marie Kirby Hampton

Viven Marie Kirby Hampton of Austin, Texas died on April 14, 2015 at the age of 92. She was born February 1, 1923 in Malakoff, Texas, to Leroy and Ellen Kirby. She will be remembered as a wonderful cook who loved to entertain and provide food and care for others. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Ellen and husband Rolfe Holkesvik, son, Gary Wade and wife Victoria Hampton, sister, Lynn Kirby Reese of Malakoff, TX, grandchildren, Morgan Holkesvik, James Sharman, Stephanie Sharman, Christopher Sharman, Christina Rioux and Alexandria Hampton Hogue, great grandchildren, Megan Rioux, Stephen Rioux, Michael Sharman, Jacob Sharman, Kendal Hogue, Izzie Sharman and Landrie Hogue. She was preceded in death by her husband, General Wade Hampton, Jr. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Malakoff Cemetery.
