Wayne Harrison

Wayne Harrison of Mabank, TX passed away in Malakoff, TX. Wayne was born in Shreveport, LA to Ernest Malcolm Harrison and Lula McClellen. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lou Ann Harrison, daughters, Dara Mills, Pam Sandstrom, son, Don Harrison, mother-in-law, Louise Galloway, Niece, Debra Von Gremp, Brother-in-laws, Scott Galloway, David Galloway, Craig Galloway, and 13 Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Lula Harrison, brothers, James D., Earl and Lester Harrison, sisters, Ernestine Wallis, Doris Horton and Margaret L. Harrison. Wayne loved to travel and got to do so by serving his country as a Korean War Veteran. He was also very intelligent and worked as an Aeronautical engineer. When he retired, he was dubbed as the original storage wars buyer until the show made it a popular thing, so instead of looking for storage containers he found a new love in flea markets. Wayne Harrison was a man of many words, not only did he laugh all the time, he loved to argue with you and to "tell Ya" what you needed to do, even though he wasn't always right. A few of his favorite pastimes were his beer & pipe and the love of a good college football game, especially USC. Oh, and not to forget his love of the sunshine of San Diego, horse races and slot's. Graveside service for Wayne is scheduled for 1:00 PM Monday, January 30 at Malakoff Cemetery. Rev. Charles Kimble will officiate.
