Willard Plunkett was born in Castor, LA on June 4, 1946 to LeRoy Plunkett and Eunice Potts Plunkett. He passed away in Athens, TX on January 26, 2021 at the age of 74.
Mr. Plunkett enjoyed working with his hands and loved fishing. He could work on just about any engine and fix small equipment. He enjoyed flea marketing, buying, selling and trading. He was a vendor at Big Daddy's Flea Market in Seven Points for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father LeRoy Plunkett, mother Eunice Potts, Infant Daughter, brothers Ollie Plunkett, Wayne Plunkett, Ricky Plunkett, sisters Mary Nisbett, and Audrey McCoy.
Willard is survived by his wife Barbara, son Bobby Plunkett, daughters Eunice Farmer, Tena Grant, Mary Plunkett, Amanda Townsend, Savanah Plunkett, brother Mike Plunkett, sisters Martha Hamilton, Carol Nixon, Claudine Stewart, Sue Luton, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Public Viewing will be held Monday, 1st of February, 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Seven Points, TX.
Graveside Service will be Monday, February 1, 2021, at 12:00 PM at King Cemetery with Reverend Thomas Eason of Masters Touch Fresh Annointing Ministry officiating.
