Obituary of James Gray

James G. “Jim” Gray

Lucy Gray’s husband, Jim, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 11, 2018.  The memorial service will be at Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church in Tool; Sunday, December 16th at 1:00pm immediately followed by a short reception.  Interment will be a private ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington at a later date. 

Survivors include Jim’s loving wife Mrs. Lucy Gray and grandson James L. Gray, Jr. and wife Lisa.  Numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many other friends and loved ones. 

Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years and three months Mrs. Nita Gray, father Galen Charles Gray, mother Sarah Elizabeth Gray and son James “Pete” Gray.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Caring Hearts Hospice, 2115 W. Main St., Gun Barrel City, TX  75156 or Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 43175, Tool, TX 75143.
